Who we are

Agro San Lorenzo is a high quality peruvian organic banana brand.

It currently has 55 base partners, which are located in the sectors of: La Pala, Las Monicas, Malingas, Santa Rosa de Curvan, CP-8, CP-15, CP-5, CP-4, CP-6, CP-10 Monastery, Hualtaco II, Olmos and Morropon.

Our Organization was the base of CEPROBAN until March 9, 2019, CEPROBAN is a second level organization that associates first level organizations to export FLO fruit through them. In May 2019, our cooperative obtained its own organic and Global GAP certificates for the first time.

Our Mission

We are a cooperative of agricultural producers that produces organic bananas with Global GAP certification and quality fair trade. We provide good services in handling the product in safe conditions that customers demand, we generate economic income for the farmer and their family, we promote sources of employment in the area and we constantly improve the quality of life of our partners.

To be recognized as the first organization that exports organic and fair trade bananas in the San Lorenzo Valley, thus promoting the commitment and participation of all our partners for the enhancement of our cooperative.

Our History

On December 10, 2008, the Cooperativa de Usuarios Agro Bananera San Lorenzo was created as an association of organic banana producers from the San Lorenzo Valley, starting with only 70 members distributed throughout the valley. The association, after a training process in organic management, BPA and BPM together with the company Grupo Hualtaco S.A.C., manages to obtain organic and Global GAP certifications, thus being able to start exports in 2010.
